Dallas music lovers have known the electronic band ISHI for years now, but who would have thought that in the aughts that lead singer John Mudd and his brother J.J. Mudd (on drums) were in an indie rock band that favored slowcore guitars over dancefloor grooves? They sounded like a cross between American Football Club and Archers of Loaf, and it's a shame they weren't signed to a label like Kill Rock Stars either. But here we are in 2019 with their complete discography including demo tracks and b-sides that were never released until now.
FFO: Slowcore, Midwest-emo, indie rock (Bedhead, Codeine, Q & Not U, Archers of Loaf, Dashboard Confessional)
